QUALIFICATION(S) AND REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must possess a good Honours Degree with at least Second
Class (Lower Division) plus a Doctorate Degree. He or she must have not
less than fifteen (15) years of teaching and research experience in a
University or an equivalent Institution. In addition, he or she must
demonstrate ability to initiate and direct research projects as well as
have substantial scholarly publications in recognized and reputable
journals and other verifiable outlets. Proven evidence of academic
leadership and ability to attract research grants is essential.
Candidate must possess a good Honours Degree with at least Second

Class (Lower Division) plus Master’s and Ph.D Degrees in his/her field

in recognized and reputable journals and other verifiable outlets.
Candidate must possess a good Honours Degree with at least Second
Class (Lower Division) plus Master’s and Ph.D Degrees in his/her field
of specialisation from a recognised University. Evidence of publications
in recognized journals would be an added advantage.
- Assistant Lecturer (CONUASS 02)
Candidate must possess a good Honours Degree with at least Second
Class (Lower Division) plus a Masters’ degree in the relevant discipline
from a recognized University. The Masters’ degree is expected to be
with a PhD grade. Candidate must also be willing to commence studies
leading to the award of the PhD degree in the relevant discipline as
soon as possible.
Candidate must possess a good Honours Degree with at least Second
Class (Lower Division) plus MLS /MLIS in Library Science or Library and
Information Science. The candidate must have at least three (3) years
cognate experience in an academic/research, Library. He or she must be
computer literate with evidence of substantial contribution to knowledge
through research and scholarly publications in recognized and reputable
journals and other verifiable outlets.
- Librarian II (CONUASS 02)
Candidate must possess a good Honours Degree with at least Second
Class (Lower Division) plus MLS or MLIS in Library Science or Library
and Information Science. The candidate must be computer literate.
- Deputy Registrar (Administrative) (CONTISS 14)
Candidate must possess a good Honours degree, with at least Second
Class (Lower Division), plus a Masters’ degree in relevant discipline
from a recognized University and must have not less than fifteen (15)
years’ post-qualification experience and three (3) years as a Principal
Assistant Registrar in a University or an institution of comparable
status. The candidate must be computer literate and must be a member of a
relevant professional body.
- Deputy Registrar (Legal) (CONTISS 14)
Candidate must possess a good Honours degree in Law (LL.B), with at
least Second Class (Lower Division), from a recognized University and
Barrister at Law (B. L) plus a Masters’ degree in relevant discipline
and must have a minimum of fifteen (15) years’ post-qualification
experience. Computer literacy is required.

Candidate must possess a good Honours degree in relevant discipline
with at least Second Class (Lower Division) from a recognized University
and must have at least six (6) years’ post-qualification experience.

Candidate must possess Higher National Diploma (HND) in Secretarial
Studies or its equivalent with a minimum of Lower Credit from a
recognized institution plus, at least six (6) years’ post-qualification
experience in a University or an equivalent institution.
- Confidential Secretary II (CONTISS 6)
Candidate must possess National Diploma in Secretarial
Studies/Administration with a minimum of Lower Credit from a recognized
institution plus, at least three (3) years’ post-qualification
experience.
- Secretarial Assistant I (CONTISS 6)
Candidate must possess five (5) Credit passes, which must include
English Language, in SSC/GCE plus 100 wpm in RSA or Open Grade Test of
NABTEB.
- Deputy Bursar (CONTISS 14)
Candidate must possess a B.Sc. degree in Accounting or related
discipline with at least Second Class (Lower Division) plus MBA or M.Sc.
in relevant discipline from a recognized University; and must be a full
member of a recognized professional accounting body such as ICAN, ACA,
ACCA, ACMA and CPA. Candidate must also have at least fifteen (15)
years’ post-qualification experience, three (3) of which must have been
at a senior management position in a University or equivalent
institution of higher learning, or an appropriate corporate
organization. Computer literacy is mandatory.
- Senior Accountant (CONTISS 9)
Candidate must possess a good Honours Bachelor Degree in Accounting
with at least Second Class (Lower Division) from a recognised
University, plus full professional qualification from a recognised
Accounting body such as ICAN, ACCA, ACMA and CPA.

Candidate must possess a good Honours Bachelor Degree in Accounting
with at least Second Class (Lower Division) from a recognised University
plus six (6) years of cognate experience in the University or an
appropriate corporate organization.

Candidate must possess a good Honours Bachelor Degree in Accounting
with at least Second Class (Lower Division) from a recognised
University.
- Higher Executive Officer (Accounts) (CONTISS 7)
Candidate must possess Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy
with a minimum of Lower Credit from a recognized institution.

Certificate plus, at least six (6) years cognate experience in a

Economics/Accounting/Business Administration, with at least Second Class
(Lower Division), from a recognised University.
- Director of ICTAC (CONTISS 15)
Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science degree with at least a
Second Class (Lower Division) in Computer Science, Electrical and
Electronic Engineering or Engineering Physics, from a recognized
University, plus a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or Information and
Communication Technology plus a minimum of twelve (12) years cognate
professional experience especially in the design and implementation of
large systems.
OR
Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science degree with at least a
Second Class (Lower Division) in Computer Science, Electrical and
Electronic Engineering or Engineering Physics, from a recognized
University plus a Masters’ degree in Computer Science or Information
& Communication Technology, plus fifteen (15) years’ cognate
professional experience especially in the design and implementation of
large data processing systems.
The candidate must also have at least five (5) years administrative
experience at the senior management level with strong evidence of
project team and group leadership, and candidate must have acquired full
membership of the Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria
(MCPN) and COREN for Engineers only.
- Deputy Director of ICTAC (Engineering/Operations/Systems Development) (CONTISS 14)
Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science degree with at least a
Second Class (Lower Division) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Engineering Physics, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering, from a
recognized University, plus a Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering,
Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology or Electrical
and Electronics Engineering with a minimum of nine (9) years cognate
professional experience especially in the design and implementation of
large systems.
OR
Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science degree with at least a
Second Class (Lower Division) in Computer Engineering or Electrical and
Electronics Engineering, from a recognized University plus a Masters’
degree in Computer Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Science or
Electrical and Electronics Engineering, plus a minimum of twelve (12)

- Senior Engineer (Mechanical) (CONTISS 9)
Candidate must possess B.Sc Engineering with at least Second Class
(Lower Division) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University.
Candidate must be registered with COREN. Candidates must have at least
six (6) years’ post-qualification cognate experience.
Candidate must possess a good Honours degree in Civil or Mechanical
Engineering, with at least Second Class (Lower Division), from a
recognized University. Candidate must be registered with COREN.
Candidate must possess a good Honours degree or HND in Mass
Communication or related disciplines from a recognised institution with a
minimum of 10 years cognate and hands-on experience.
Candidate must possess a good Honours degree or HND in
Electrical/Electronics (or other related fields) from a recognised
institution with a minimum of 5 years cognate and hands-on experience.
- Studio Technologist (CONTISS 7)
Candidate must possess HND with at least Lower Credit in relevant
field from a recognized Institution or equivalent qualification
registrable with relevant Professional bodies. Candidate must have at
least two (2) years post-qualification cognate experience.
- Farm Manager II (Fisheries/Livestock) (CONTISS 7)
Candidate must possess a good Honours degree with at least Second
Class (Lower Division) in Fisheries/Animal Production (or other related
fields) from a recognized University. Candidate must have at least two
(2) years post-qualification cognate experience.

Candidate must possess HND with at least Lower Credit in relevant
field from a recognized Institution or equivalent qualification
registrable with NISLT. Candidate must have at least two (2) years

Candidate must possess Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in Forestry from a recognized institution.
